Swedish

Swedish style is the most popular form of massage. Using oil, light to moderate touch, and traditional techniques, Swedish Massage feels great, is relaxing, and effectively relieves pain. Get ready for another day of fun in the mountains with a simple Swedish session.

Tui Na

A Chinese massage style, Tui Na uses a variety of stretches and manipulative therapy to help you achieve superior health. Combining Taoist philosophy with traditional Chinese medicine, Tui Na embodies the Aspen ideals of cultivating your mind, body, and spirit.

Deep Tissue

Designed to target specific pain points, deep tissue massage release pesky knots and chronic pain. This is a great way to bring blood flow to critical areas of your body and break up scar tissue.

THAI

Incorporating a vast set of passive stretches and utilizing both hand and foot pressure, Thai massage feels almost like 4 handed massage.  Often refered to as lazy man’s yoga, Thai massage is an awesome way to reap the benefits of deep stretching in a very relaxed state. You will feel your body unwind in powerful ways.

ACUPRESSURE

Using the Chinese medical system of organ systems, meridians, and acupuncture points, acupressure can affect power changes in the body without the use of needles.  Pressure is applied to acupuncture points, and along meridians to address pain or dis-ease by tonifying deficiencies and removing stagnation.

CUPPING

I use the traditional style of glass fire cups to provide a strong suction for gliding and static cupping.  During gliding cupping, oil is applied to the skin so that the cups can slide, to create a wonderful “reverse massage” sensation.  Other times I leave the cups in place over an area where we wish to remove stagnation, create space and bring blood flow to. Cupping is great therapy for deep knots, scar tissue and chronic pain.
